Paris: Musee de Cluny

I have finally finished editing photos from my November trip to France. Here are a few from the Musee de Cluny, absolutely fantastic and one of my favorite sites to visit in Paris. The following describes the museum:

"In the heart of the Latin quarter, the museum offers an exceptional journey through almost 15 centuries, from gallo-roman antiquity to the fifteenth century. It contains the vestiges of the baths of Lutecia (second and third centuries AD), including the cold room (frigidarium) and the gothic hotel of the abbots of Cluny, a jewel of the flamboyant architecture of the fifteenth century. Its collections reveal the richness of the arts and crafts of the Middle Ages. One of its masterpieces is the Dame à la Licorne tapestry. The sculptures represent important monuments: the abbey churches of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Saint-Denis, the Sainte-Chapelle and Notre-Dame-de-Paris in particular."
